As part of my degree, I created these fake advertisements showing internet providers offering privacy bundles to new customers. The idea stems from the 2013 leak of government documents by NSA contractor Edward Snowden. It addresses how privacy in the future will begin to be offered as an add-on to existing services, as opposed to a basic human right. The small print on each poster negates the notion that purchasing these bundles grants users more privacy, making reference to the new investigatory draft bill being proposed by Theresa May and the damaging insight this will have for the privacy of British Citizens. Each poster was created on Photoshop and has been submitted as part of my work for third term.
