Over the August bank holiday weekend, we were in Manchester filming the annual Pride festival. We wanted to do something a bit different for this year’s video: we wanted to show how attitudes towards the LGBT+ community have shifted over the last 20/30 years and how the community has had to fight for their right to love. This is the final result.
Special thanks to Nick Lansley for allowing us to use his footage from the Stop Clause 28 March In 1988, shown at the beginning of the video.
Behind the scenes
Alongside the main aftermovie, we also created a short behind the scenes video to show our thought processes and how we went about shooting the festival. Special thanks to Joe Schofield for shooting this for us.
